Senior Legal Consultant – Investment Fund (UCITS / AIFs)
Your Day-to-Day
As a Senior Legal Consultant, you will step into a core regulatory and compliance role within the Regulatory Intelligence & Services, supporting asset managers and financial institutions.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Business and Marketing Compliance: interpretation of laws and regulations applicable typically to management companies, administrators, distributors and fund managers in the context of cross-border distribution.
- Develop a strong understanding of the local rules and challenges related to the distribution and the marketing of foreign funds (UCITS and AIFs) on a cross-border basis
- Contribute to the continuous maintenance and development of the department’s regulatory database
- Lead projects and coordinate assistance to clients in the interpreting the local regulations applicable to foreign UCITS and AIFs marketed in multiple host jurisdictions
- Organize internal and external training sessions
Your Profile
- Hold a master’s degree in law, economics or business administration
- Demonstrate a strong knowledge of EU regulations on investment funds and Asset Management environment
- Be strong team player but also able to work independently
- Be flexible and able to work within tight deadlines
- Have a proven experience in people management and project management of regulatory changes
- Show excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
- A previous experience of 5 to 10 years in the investment fund industry universe is an asset
- Are fluent in English – any other language is an advantage
