Business analyst MFTA Swissmarket

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Support the onboarding and implementation activities for a Transfer Agency (TA) perimeter across a Swiss fund market environment and related locations
  • Act as a Business Analyst across multiple initiatives, including analysis, specification and testing activities (functional and regression testing)
  • Contribute to end-to-end project lifecycle activities, from requirements gathering to solution validation
  • Translate business needs into clear functional documentation (Project Initiation Document / functional specifications)
  • Participate in solution design and ensure alignment with business and operational requirements
  • Perform testing of new functionalities, enhancements, and system connectivity (including payment and messaging flows such as SWIFT-type integrations)
  • Support analysis and validation of transaction flows, fees processing and reconciliation-related topics
  • Coordinate and support stakeholder training sessions related to system and process changes
  • Monitor and follow up on project-related changes, including reporting and tracking of impacts
  • Provide functional expertise on Transfer Agency platforms and associated satellite applications (multi-funds environments)
  • Contribute to documentation and knowledge management by producing user guides, process documentation and maintaining internal knowledge repositories
  • Ensure risk identification and support the definition of mitigation actions linked to system or process changes
  • Provide ongoing business support as part of BA activities across change and run initiatives

Your Profile:

  • Strong experience in Business Analysis within financial services, ideally in fund administration or Transfer Agency environments
  • Good understanding of securities services operations and fund lifecycle processes
  • Experience in functional analysis, requirements gathering and writing structured documentation
  • Proven ability in testing activities (UAT, functional testing, integration testing)
  • Knowledge of transaction processing, connectivity flows and reconciliation topics (including messaging standards such as SWIFT)
  • Ability to analyse complex business needs and translate them into clear functional solutions
  • Experience working in change management or transformation projects
  • Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to produce clear documentation and training materials
  • English proficiency at expert level
  • Ability to work in a structured, detail-oriented and risk-aware environment
  • Knowledge of Transfer Agency systems and securities services ecosystems considered a strong advantage
