As a Functional Business Analyst and SWIFT Expert, you will support a strategic integration project for a leading asset servicer. Your core mission will be to analyze, map, and validate financial messaging flows between a new core Transfer Agency (TA) platform and the bank’s target operating model.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• SWIFT Mapping & Validation: Reviewing and confirming the detailed mapping of SWIFT messages between the new core Transfer Agency (TA) platform and the asset servicer’s operating model.
• Flow Alignment: Ensuring that all financial message flows and technical setups are fully aligned with market best practices and the target banking model.
• Functional Specifications: Providing detailed functional requirements and documentation to support the IT development teams of the core TA platform.
• Gap Analysis: Reviewing the current TA platform’s SWIFT messaging architecture to identify potential functional gaps, discrepancies, or areas for operational improvement.
• Risk Mitigation: Ensuring the messaging setup is robust, sustainable, and optimized to significantly reduce the risk of rejected or failed messages.

Your Profile

• Experience: Confirmed experience as a Functional Business Analyst or Consultant within the Asset Servicing, Fund Industry, Custody, or Transfer Agency domain.
• SWIFT & ISO 20022 Expertise: Deep functional expertise in financial messaging, with a strong and proven track record working on the ISO 20022 standard.
• Message Specialization: Comprehensive hands-on experience and structural knowledge of payment and cash management formats, specifically camt, pacs, and pain messages.
• Business Architecture: Solid understanding of Transfer Agency core systems, payment clearing mechanisms, and transaction lifecycles within an international asset servicing environment.
• Soft Skills: Outstanding analytical, documentation, and communication skills, with a proven capability to act as a reliable bridge between business representatives and technical IT developers.
• Languages: Fluent in English (written and spoken). Professional command of French is considered a solid asset for daily coordination.
