Senior Business Analyst / Project Manager (Funds & Reporting)
Your day-to-day
- Requirements & Specifications: Analyze user requirements to produce functional and software specifications for evolutions of the Fund Reporting Repository module; identify data duplication across systems and specify data/feature relocation to core applications (SERAPIS, CLM).
- Reporting & Data Management: Produce specifications for new online reports and actively develop them (KPIs, Project progress reports); assess data quality and perform preliminary testing of developed reports; maintain and update the data glossary and user guides.
- Project Coordination & Impact Analysis: Act as the primary point of contact between the user community and the development team; manage project communications, tickets, and release implementations with the IT owner; perform impact analysis of new tools (e.g., NOW project) on existing modules.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Prepare, coordinate, and execute comprehensive testing activities (including non-regression tests) for both reporting modules and Middle Office solutions.
- Documentation & Architecture Support: Produce core project artifacts (business cases, project charters, detailed requirements, test cases); assist in preparing conceptual data models and use cases to initiate the creation of a Middle Office solution for intermediated products (portfolio guarantees, investment funds).
Your profile
- Education & Experience: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Finance, or an associated field, combined with proven experience as a Project Manager or Business Analyst within a bank or financial institution.
- Domain Expertise: Extensive knowledge of the investment fund industry (actors, share classes, NAV), risk-sharing instruments (portfolio guarantees, contingent loans), and front-to-back information exchange workflows (payment instructions, cash transfers).
- Technical Skills: Proficient in SQL, data analysis, and document management platforms; strong mastery of modeling techniques (UML, ARIS, ERM) and defect-tracking/ticketing tools; advanced command of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Visio, Access).
- Project Methodology: Solid understanding of project management practices and data migration projects; an industry certification (PRINCE2, PMI, or equivalent) is highly appreciated; knowledge of lending and fund management applications is a strong asset.
- Languages & Soft Skills: Fluent in English with a very good command of French (both written and spoken, with strong drafting skills in both languages); autonomous team player with sharp analytical skills, a problem-solving attitude, and a strong sense of commitment.
