Subject Matter Expert – BI Custody & Clearing Support

Your Day to Day:

  • Manage the implementation of custody-related projects including client onboarding, fund launches, mergers, liquidations, and migrations.
  • Organize and participate in regular project meetings with clients and internal or external stakeholders to ensure alignment and progress tracking.
  • Perform detailed analyses of client requirements and design operational models aligned with internal standards, proposing alternative solutions where necessary.
  • Oversee the preparation and negotiation of operational documentation, including memoranda and agreements, ensuring compliance with internal procedures.
  • Coordinate the implementation of currency setups, including restricted and liquid currencies, and ensure operational readiness for FX activities.
  • Develop strong collaboration with custody teams to ensure operational structures and data flows are in place and functioning correctly for a smooth transition to business-as-usual.
  • Lead and coordinate the migration of assets and cash in the context of client transitions, preparing documentation defining responsibilities and processes between stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with transversal teams such as fund administration, transfer agency, fund dealing, depository, and market services to ensure dependencies and shared topics are properly managed.
  • Monitor project pipelines and maintain accurate information on ongoing and upcoming initiatives, anticipating potential bottlenecks and capacity risks.
  • Coordinate connectivity setup and testing with clients and delegates to ensure operational readiness for day-one transactions.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of onboarding and custody processes through post-implementation reviews and by suggesting practical, data-driven enhancements.

Your Profile:

  • Deep understanding of custody operations, fund structures, and financial instruments.
  • Strong experience in project management, ideally within asset servicing, custody, or fund administration.
  • Proficiency in analyzing complex business requirements and translating them into operational models.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and negotiation skills with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a structured and proactive approach.
  • Experience in BI and reporting environments, with a focus on improving process efficiency and data quality.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to risk mitigation and process consistency.
  • Fluent in English and French, with any additional European language considered an advantage.
  • Autonomous, adaptable, and detail-oriented professional capable of working in an international environment.
