Senior Financial Application Developper

Your day-to-day :

Build and enhance features within VBA/Python applications, macros and Power BI dashboards
Monitor deliverables and coordinate follow-ups with both internal teams and external stakeholders
Produce documentation covering decision-making processes, testing procedures and end-user training
Design and roll out internal communication plans for system updates and new feature releases
Carry out testing, change management activities and support deployments through to production
Ensure all project materials and artefacts are properly archived (SharePoint) for audit readiness
Facilitate and support division-wide activities including meeting organisation and facilitation
Prepare agendas, draft meeting minutes, track action items and identify risks alongside mitigation strategies
Participate in handovers covering VBA, Java and SQL applications and their associated documentation
Formalise handover protocols to confirm the completeness and quality of all transferred tasks
Produce MS Office deliverables (including VBA code where applicable)
Create and execute test cases to validate requirements and ensure software quality
Develop training materials and run training sessions as needed

Your profile :

At least 7 years of experience in IT project environments
Background in financial services is an asset
Familiarity with financial IT systems such as SWIFT, Murex or Bloomberg is a plus
Solid hands-on experience developing and deploying VBA macros and MS Office solutions (Excel & Access)
Strong working knowledge of SQL, XML and XSLT
Good understanding of modern IT architectures
Experience with Power BI and/or Microsoft Fabric is a plus
Exposure to Microsoft Azure is an advantage
Strong project management capabilities with the ability to juggle multiple priorities under tight deadlines
Proven ability to produce clear, structured business requirements
Experienced in presenting reports and communications to senior management
Customer-oriented mindset with demonstrated change management and communication skills
English proficiency at B2 level or above
