Senior Avaloq Tester
Your day to day
As part of a dedicated project team, you will join the securities back-office environment as a Senior Avaloq Tester. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of all Avaloq-related developments.
Working in close collaboration with IT, business, and operational teams, you will quickly integrate into the workflow and contribute to project success.
Operational tasks
- Design, execution, and documentation of functional test cases on Avaloq core banking platform
- Tracking and management of test defects and deviations
- Validation of functionalities related to securities processing (settlement, corporate actions, pricing)
- Close collaboration with developers, business analysts, and end-users
- Ensure compliance with internal quality, security, and regulatory standards
Cross-functional activities
- Participate in project meetings and test governance committees
- Contribute to test process improvement and automation initiatives
- Provide support during production releases and go-live phases
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and test case repositories
Your profile
- Master’s degree or equivalent in IT, Finance, or related field
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a tester on Avaloq core banking systems
- Strong knowledge of financial instruments and securities processing lifecycle
- Detail-oriented, autonomous, and capable of anticipating risks
- Familiarity with test management tools (JIRA, XRay, HP QC, etc.)
- Fluent in English; French is an asset
- Immediate availability required
