Operations Analyst
Your day to day
- Manage end-to-end securities transactions, ensuring timely confirmation, matching and settlement
- Monitor settlement activity, investigate breaks and resolve discrepancies with custodians, brokers and counterparties
- Process and oversee corporate actions (mandatory and voluntary), including event validation, client elections, entitlements and reconciliations
- Manage cash operations: payments, reconciliations, liquidity monitoring, funding and reporting
- Support credit operations across the loan lifecycle (setup, monitoring, amendments and reporting)
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory, audit and internal control requirements
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to regulatory and operational reporting
- Liaise with front office, client services and internal stakeholders to support daily operations
- Identify operational risks, escalate issues when required and contribute to process optimization
- Participate in system enhancements, UAT testing and project initiatives
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in financial operations (securities, corporate actions, cash or credit)
- Strong understanding of financial markets and operational processes
- Solid knowledge of regulatory and control frameworks
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Organized, rigorous and proactive, with a problem-solving mindset
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders
- Comfortable with computer-based tools and operational systems
- Fluent in English; Portuguese is an advantage
