Operations Analyst

Your day to day

  • Manage end-to-end securities transactions, ensuring timely confirmation, matching and settlement
  • Monitor settlement activity, investigate breaks and resolve discrepancies with custodians, brokers and counterparties
  • Process and oversee corporate actions (mandatory and voluntary), including event validation, client elections, entitlements and reconciliations
  • Manage cash operations: payments, reconciliations, liquidity monitoring, funding and reporting
  • Support credit operations across the loan lifecycle (setup, monitoring, amendments and reporting)
  • Ensure full compliance with regulatory, audit and internal control requirements
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to regulatory and operational reporting
  • Liaise with front office, client services and internal stakeholders to support daily operations
  • Identify operational risks, escalate issues when required and contribute to process optimization
  • Participate in system enhancements, UAT testing and project initiatives

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in financial operations (securities, corporate actions, cash or credit)
  • Strong understanding of financial markets and operational processes
  • Solid knowledge of regulatory and control frameworks
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Organized, rigorous and proactive, with a problem-solving mindset
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders
  • Comfortable with computer-based tools and operational systems
  • Fluent in English; Portuguese is an advantage
