Murex System Analyst – Expert Consultant
Your Day-to-Day:
• Design, build and maintain Murex modules across Front Office, Risk, and Reporting environments
• Support the implementation of Murex functionalities, ensuring alignment with business requirements
• Collaborate closely with Front Office, Middle Office, Risk and IT teams to gather and validate requirements
• Develop and enhance MxTest (automated non-regression testing tool) to ensure system stability
• Lead end-to-end delivery from design and build to testing and production deployment
• Contribute to UAT phases, including preparation of test cases and validation of results
• Perform functional and technical analysis on financial products and derivatives
• Ensure proper coordination across teams for smooth implementation and releases
• Support go-live activities and provide post-production follow-up
• Produce and maintain functional and technical documentation
Your Profile:
• Minimum 10 years of experience with Murex in a banking or financial institution environment
• Strong expertise across Front Office, Risk and Reporting modules
• Proven experience in Murex implementation (FO, Reporting, MLC, VaR)
• Hands-on experience with MxTest and non-regression testing frameworks
• Strong understanding of financial products: Fixed Income, FX, Interest Rate Swaps, Cross Currency Swaps
• Ability to interact with business stakeholders using financial metrics (e.g. VaR, DV01, P&L)
• Solid experience in full project lifecycle: analysis, design, build, testing and deployment
• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work autonomously in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment
• Fluent in English
