IT Business Analyst Corporate Olympic

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Gather, analyse and document business and functional requirements by collaborating closely with business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Lead workshops to understand business needs, identify process improvements and translate them into clear functional specifications.
  • Produce high-quality Business Requirements Documents (BRD), functional documentation, user stories, process flows and acceptance criteria.
  • Act as the key interface between business users and IT teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with development teams to define priorities, estimate workloads and monitor delivery progress.
  • Design and execute functional, integration and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scenarios to ensure solutions meet business expectations.
  • Identify, prioritise and follow up on functional defects while coordinating their resolution with technical teams.
  • Support solution deployment by preparing documentation, user guides and training materials, while assisting end-users during implementation.
  • Maintain accurate functional documentation and ensure all project artefacts remain up to date.
  • Produce regular project status reports, progress updates and KPIs for internal stakeholders.
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives and support change management activities.

Your Profile:

  • Proven experience as a Functional Business Analyst or IT Business Analyst within the financial services industry.
  • Strong expertise in business analysis, requirements gathering and functional specification writing.
  • Experience translating business requirements into clear, structured and traceable documentation.
  • Solid knowledge of functional testing methodologies, including UAT, test planning, execution and defect management.
  • Ability to work effectively with both business stakeholders and technical teams in an Agile or project-based environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience facilitating workshops, presenting solutions and managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.
  • Comfortable working with financial applications or business-critical systems.
  • Professional level of English, both written and spoken.
  • Previous experience within banking, financial services or capital markets is considered a strong asset.
