Fund Administrator & Accountant – Senior Officer (Private Equity)
Your day-to-day
- Oversee daily fund operations within the private equity structure and ensure smooth coordination between all parties involved.
- Act as the main liaison with service providers such as custodians, fund administrators, transfer agents, and accountants.
- Review, control, and validate accounting data and NAV calculations prepared by external administrators.
- Monitor investor, partner, and regulatory reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable standards.
- Collaborate closely with internal transaction teams and third parties regarding capital calls, distributions, and divestments.
- Serve as the key point of contact during external audits, ensuring timely responses to auditor requests.
- Handle investor queries related to financial statements and fund performance.
- Support the monitoring of fund and management company expenses, including invoice validation and payment follow-up.
- Assist with accounting, tax, and regulatory reporting tasks across group entities and investment vehicles.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes, controls, and operational efficiency.
Your profile
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; additional professional qualifications are a plus.
- 5–10 years of experience in fund accounting and administration, ideally within private equity or alternative investment structures.
- Strong understanding of Luxembourg fund structures, AIFM operations, and relevant EU regulations.
- Proficiency in fund accounting principles; familiarity with IFRS considered an asset.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building effective relationships with internal teams and external partners.
- Collaborative, proactive, and hands-on attitude with a strong sense of ownership and initiative.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required; proficiency in French or German is a strong advantage.
