Entreprise Architect
Your Day-to-Day
- Design and oversee architectures across all major architecture domains: Business, User Experience, Application, Data, Technology, and Security
- Contribute at multiple abstraction levels, from enterprise-wide high-level architecture to detailed solution-level implementation
- Support the development of a customer-centric, value-oriented, and sustainable architecture practice within the organization
- Maintain and evolve the enterprise architecture repository that reflects the current and target-state IT landscape
- Contribute to the definition and continuous improvement of functional, technical, data, and business process architectures
- Participate in all major projects across the portfolio, working closely with stakeholders from business, functional analysis, infrastructure, security, and IT
- Evaluate and challenge business requirements to design scalable, robust, and future-proof architectures
- Identify opportunities for improvement in business architecture and processes, supporting business transformation initiatives
- Ensure alignment between IT strategy and business goals
- Promote coherence, security, and operational efficiency throughout the Information System
- Manage the technology standards and maintain a technology radar to track trends, emerging tools, and innovation
- Drive the adoption of new technologies and support digital transformation initiatives
- Provide guidance to IT teams:
- Promote architectural best practices
- Bridge the gap between enterprise decisions and implementation
- Review deliverables, clarify infrastructure and security needs
- Validate designs and contribute to IT cost estimates
- Facilitate the integration of innovative third-party or startup solutions while ensuring compliance with technology standards
Your Profile
- Solid experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, IASA)
- Proficiency in architecture modeling languages and notations such as UML, Archimate, C4 Model, BPMN, and ER diagrams
- Strong experience designing microservices architectures, both from a technical (e.g., Spring Boot, containers) and functional (Domain-Driven Design) standpoint
- Familiar with various architecture styles:
- Web-Oriented Architecture
- Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)
- Event-Driven Architecture (EDA)
- Hexagonal Architecture
- Broad technical knowledge across:
- Core systems (e.g., transactional platforms, financial applications)
- API and microservice ecosystems
- Technologies such as Spring, Kafka, MQ, Java, Python
- Data formats (JSON, XML), ETL processes, Data Lakes, file transfers
- Databases (e.g., Oracle)
- Security mechanisms, such as PKI
- Skilled in organizing and leading architecture workshops with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to manage priorities and work independently across several initiatives
- Strong analytical mindset to translate business strategies into technology roadmaps and concrete architectures
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to bridge business and technical discussions
- Proven interpersonal skills: collaborative mindset, listening, influence, and leadership
- Agile and open to continuous learning of new tools, frameworks, and emerging technologies
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems
- Fluent in English and French (mandatory); additional languages are an asset
- Preferred certifications: TOGAF, IASA, SAFe for Architects
- Experience: Between 5 to 10 years in enterprise or solution architecture roles
