Developer – Digital Strategy – Expert IAM/CIAM

Your Day to Day

As a Senior CIAM Architect & Developer, you will work independently on the analysis, security architecture, and technical validation required to modernize our customer identity management ecosystem. Your main mission will be to externalize authentication from Salesforce to a dedicated Customer Identity & Access Management (CIAM) solution (initially assessing Microsoft Entra External ID). 

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Current-State Analysis & Mapping: Auditing the existing customer identity lifecycle (account creation, password resets, deactivations) and mapping all internal/external applications consuming these customer identities. 
• Target Architecture Design: Defining the target architecture, synchronization flows, and detailed technical diagrams ensuring Salesforce remains the « Golden Source » while delegating authentication to the new CIAM platform. 
• Proof of Concept (POC) Implementation: Hands-on designing, coding, and deploying a concrete POC to technically validate registration/sign-in journeys, external user management, and seamless integration between Salesforce APIs and Microsoft Entra External ID. 
• Security Strategy & Risk Assessment: Comparing and recommending advanced security mechanisms (MFA, SMS/Email OTP, Passkeys/FIDO2, Passwordless, Conditional Access, and abnormality detection). 
• Governance & Compliance: Ensuring the target solution perfectly aligns with global data protection requirements and establishing an operational support framework. 
• Team Mentoring: Upskilling the internal developer team on the Microsoft technology stack and distributed caching mechanisms. 

Your Profile

• Experience: You are a Senior Profile (minimum 5-7+ years of experience) with a strong background in IT projects within the Financial Services or Asset Management sector. 
• CIAM/IAM Expertise: Deep technical mastery of Customer Identity & Access Management concepts, authentication protocols, and identity federation tools (OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect / OIDC, SAML 2.0, SCIM, JWT). 
• Technical Ecosystem:
  • Strong background in Microsoft Stack development (.NET / C#). 
  • Advanced expertise in Azure Cloud Environments, specifically Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Entra External ID, or Azure AD B2C. 
  • Good familiarity with data integration (SSIS) and code quality control (Sonar).
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce Identity, Salesforce APIs, and user/contact management modules. 
• Methodology & Automation: Used to working in Agile environments with strong skills in Test Automation.
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent independent problem-solving skills combined with a strong team spirit. 
  • Highly stress-resistant, adaptable, and solution-minded when working on critical production environments. 
  • Outstanding communication and documentation skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical developers and business stakeholders. 
• Languages: Fluent French (mandatory for daily project coordination) and Good command of English (written/spoken).
