Data Protection Legal Consultant – GDPR / DPIA

Your Day-to-Day :

  • Conduct a complete Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA) for ongoing and upcoming projects.
  • Review and document several New Product Approval Process (NPAP) files from a data-protection perspective.
  • Assess data flows, risk levels, and mitigation measures in compliance with GDPR requirements.
  • Collaborate with Legal, IT Security, and Business stakeholders to validate compliance actions and documentation.
  • Draft or update related GDPR documentation (records of processing, risk assessments, recommendations).
  • Present findings and recommendations to the Legal/Data Protection team for validation and implementation.

Your Profile :

  • Expert knowledge of GDPR and data-protection legislation (EU 2016/679) – ability to work autonomously.
  • Proven experience conducting DPIAs and reviewing NPAPs or equivalent risk-analysis processes.
  • Background in Legal, Data Protection, or Compliance within the financial or corporate sector.
  • Excellent analytical, writing, and documentation skills in English (French is an asset).
