Data Architect – BI Expert (SAP BO to Power BI Migration)
Your day to day
As a Data Architect with strong expertise in Business Intelligence, you will support a large-scale migration project from SAP Business Objects to Power BI. Your role will involve designing and optimizing BI architecture while working closely with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Design, maintenance, and optimization of SAP Business Objects universes (version 4.3)
- Migration of reports and dashboards from SAP BO to Microsoft Power BI
- Definition and implementation of scalable, high-performance BI architecture
- Active participation in data warehouse modeling and ETL processes
- Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server technologies:
- SSIS for data integration
- SSRS for report development
- SSAS for analytical models and OLAP cubes
- Technical evaluation of BI tools and proposal of architecture strategies
- Effort estimation and technical planning for migration and transformation projects
- Ensuring alignment with data governance and compliance frameworks
- Production of clear, well-structured technical documentation and deliverables
Your profile
- Proven experience in data architecture and enterprise BI environments
- Expertise in SAP Business Objects (reporting structure and universe design)
- Proficient in Power BI for interactive dashboards and automated reporting
- Advanced skills in SQL Server (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS)
- Solid understanding of data warehousing and data modeling principles
- Experience with ETL workflows and performance optimization
- Familiarity with compliance requirements and data governance best practices
- Industry experience in insurance or financial services is a strong advantage
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
- Strong analytical mindset, autonomy, and results-driven approach
- Fluent in French (mandatory); proficiency in English is a plus
