Business Analyst – COO Strategic Execution Team

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Operating Model Design: Support the confirmation and build-out of the Operating Model using a structured, top-down approach (from high-level gap analysis and process summary diagrams to detailed swimlane flows for manual processes/exceptions and comprehensive procedural documents).
  • Operational Readiness: Work closely with the Operational Readiness team to ensure the new Operating Model is thoroughly understood across all global locations.
  • Requirements Gathering: Conduct deep business analysis, gathering, and documenting clear business requirements.
  • Strategic Consulting: Act as a subject matter expert, providing high-level technical consulting and leadership to project teams and partners.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Identify, document, and escalate business readiness risks and issues to the programme management, ensuring effective mitigation plans are in place.
  • Stakeholder & Client Liaison: Build strong working relationships with stream teams, project resources, and clients, representing the Operating Model in required forums to ensure seamless alignment between business units.
  • Programme Partnership: Partner with Programme Management to track all aspects of the Operating Model implementation and ensure strategic objectives are met.

Your Profile:

  • Industry Experience: Strong understanding of the financial services industry, including operating models, systems landscape, and end-to-end process and data flows.
  • Transformation Expertise: Proven experience supporting complex transformation initiatives across process, technology, and organizational change within global environments.
  • Analytical Skills: Advanced analytical capability with a structured approach to problem-solving, data analysis, and translating business requirements into actionable deliverables.
  • Operating Model Design: Ability to assess current-state operations, identify structural gaps, and design scalable target operating models aligned with strategic goals.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to constructively challenge and influence stakeholders at all levels (technical and non-technical).
  • Risk & Governance: Strong awareness of risk management, governance frameworks, and regulatory considerations within key transformation activities.
  • Delivery & Personal Qualities: Results-oriented, resilient, and adaptable « doer » with a continuous improvement mindset, capable of managing competing priorities across global teams and time zones.
  • Languages: Fluent in English (French or any additional languages considered an asset).
