AML/KYC & KYT – Retail / Physical persons
Your day-to-day:
- Client onboarding & due diligence: Conduct AML/KYC reviews for individual clients, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
- KYT (Know Your Transaction) analysis: Perform transaction monitoring and analyze financial flows to identify unusual or suspicious activities in line with AML/CTF obligations.
- Daily monitoring of AML alerts: Review alerts generated by monitoring tools (CDD alerts, transaction monitoring alerts, sanctions screening, PEP and adverse media alerts) and escalate cases when necessary.
- Client risk assessment: Carry out periodic reviews and risk classifications for individual clients to ensure files remain accurate, complete, and compliant.
- Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD): Conduct enhanced reviews for high-risk clients, Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs), and sensitive cases.
- Support to the MLRO (Money Laundering Reporting Officer): Assist in preparing investigations, reports, and recommendations related to suspicious activities.
- Compliance advisory: Provide AML/KYC guidance and support to operational and front-office teams on compliance-related matters.
- Regulatory controls: Perform controls as part of the Compliance Monitoring Plan and ensure adherence to AML/CTF obligations.
- Regulatory watch: Monitor AML/CTF regulatory developments and contribute to the adaptation of internal procedures accordingly.
- Process improvement & projects: Participate in AML/KYC projects, process optimization initiatives, and automation of monitoring activities.
- Training & awareness: Contribute to maintaining a strong compliance culture within the institution.
Your profile:
- Experience in AML/KYC, compliance, or financial crime prevention within the banking or financial services sector, ideally in a retail / individual clients environment.
- Good knowledge of KYT (Know Your Transaction), transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and customer due diligence processes.
- Strong understanding of AML/CTF regulations and regulatory requirements applicable to retail banking.
- Analytical and risk-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage sensitive cases confidentially and within regulatory deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with various internal stakeholders.
- Proactive, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- University degree in finance, law, economics, business administration, or a related field is considered an asset.
- Fluent in French and English; any additional language is considered a plus.
