Banking Cash Management Officer Level

Your day-to-day

Ensure the efficient, secure and compliant management of the bank’s daily cash operations and payment flows, with a particular focus on SWIFT MX cash-relevant messages, while contributing to process optimization and risk control in a cross-border environment.

Key elements:

• Oversee and coordinate day-to-day cash management operations (liquidity monitoring, cash positioning, intraday funding) to guarantee timely and accurate execution of all payments. 
• Act autonomously for SWIFT MX cash messages, ensuring correct use, validation, and troubleshooting of ISO 20022 formats, and supporting migration and enhancement projects in this area. 
• Monitor operational, settlement, and counterparty risks related to cash management activities and ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and cut-off times. 
• Collaborate closely with front office, back office, IT, and compliance teams to streamline processes, resolve operational issues, and enhance straight-through processing. 

Your Profile

• Experience: Proven operational experience in Cash Management, Treasury Operations, or Payment Processing within the banking or asset servicing sector.
• Technical Skills: Strong, autonomous command of financial messaging systems, specifically SWIFT MX and ISO 20022 formats. Experience with SWIFT migration projects is highly valued.
• Operational Mindset: Highly analytical, with a sharp eye for risk control (liquidity, settlement, counterparty) and strict adherence to cut-off times in a high-stakes environment.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical (IT) and business (FO/BO) teams.
• Languages: Professional fluency in English is mandatory. German language skills are considered a strong advantage for this specific mission.
• Availability: Immediate availability is highly preferred to ensure a prompt project start.
