Business Analyst Private Capital Efront
Your Day-to-Day
As a Business Analyst / Product Owner within the Private Capital domain, you will be essentially focused on the Front Invest Alternatives IT platform. You will act as the key interface between business stakeholders, internal operations, and IT development teams to drive upgrades from requirement gathering to production roll-out.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Business Process Analysis: Analyzing and documenting end-to-end Private Capital workflows, from investor registry and asset ownership to fund accounting and regulatory reporting.
- Requirements Gathering & Agile Documentation: Translating complex business requirements and cross-location scope into clear user stories and functional specifications.
- Solution Design & Mapping: Contributing to target solution design with developers and defining business rules to ensure compatibility between « as is » and « to be » models.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Designing acceptance criteria, running user acceptance testing (UAT), supporting non-regression test cases, and managing sprint deliverable demos.
- Production & Level 3 Support: Assisting operational support teams with platform issues requiring in-depth Level 3 analysis, and documenting operational handovers or release notes.
- Agile Governance: Actively participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, estimations, and retrospectives under Scrum or Kanban frameworks.
Your Profile
- Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or Functional Consultant within the investment fund industry.
- Domain Expertise: Strong functional knowledge of Private Capital operations, including private equity, real estate, investor services, fund accounting, or depositary processes.
- Technical & Software Skills:
- eFront Invest is a MUST.
- Proficiency with Agile collaboration and testing tools, specifically JIRA and Octane.
- Strong familiarity with standard Microsoft Office tools.
- Norms & Methodologies: Solid understanding of Agile concepts (Scrum, Kanban), Information Security standards, and operational compliance frameworks (e.g., ISAE3402).
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication and analytical skills, with a proven ability to challenge stakeholder requirements and manage daily project progress under pressure.
- Languages: Full professional fluency in both English and French is required to operate effectively in a cross-border environment.
