Developer & Business Analyst – IT corporate functions
Your Day-to-Day:
- Ensure continuity of business-as-usual (BAU) activities by supporting operational teams on financial tools and systems
- Provide hands-on support on SAS-based environments, including maintenance and optimization of existing tools
- Analyze current finance and accounting processes and identify improvement opportunities
- Translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications
- Participate in solution design phases (scope definition, functional architecture, specifications)
- Contribute to testing, deployment, and change management activities
- Collaborate with both business and technical stakeholders to ensure alignment of solutions
- Act as a key contact for finance teams on a daily basis
- Support ongoing transformation initiatives related to finance operating models
Your Profile:
- Strong dual expertise combining technical development and business analysis
- Proven experience in finance-related IT projects (ERP, accounting systems, reporting tools)
- Solid background in finance and accounting processes (GL, AP/AR, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, regulatory constraints)
- Good understanding of procurement processes and financial operations
- Advanced knowledge of SAS (including macros and templates) with ability to maintain and enhance tools
- Experience working in financial services or asset management environments is a strong plus
- Strong understanding of IT project lifecycle (scoping, build, testing, deployment)
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g. Azure DevOps)
- Ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Autonomous, detail-oriented, and results-driven mindset
- Leadership mindset with ability to act as a subject-matter reference
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Fluent in English and French
