Your day to day:
- Act as a Finance subject matter expert supporting financial steering and governance functions
- Contribute to business-as-usual Finance activities, including reporting, controlling and consolidation
- Produce, analyse and ensure the reliability of financial and non-financial data for management purposes
- Deliver ad-hoc financial analyses to support strategic decision-making
- Actively participate in budgeting, forecasting and target-setting cycles
- Assess, optimise and harmonise Finance processes and tools as part of continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure data consistency, quality and alignment across multiple entities
- Identify risks, performance gaps and improvement opportunities in complex environments
- Initiate and manage Finance-related projects of small to medium scope
- Support the development and structuring of PMO Finance activities
- Act as a change agent by supporting Finance teams through transformation initiatives
Your profile:
- Master’s degree in Finance, Economics or a related field
- Strong and proven experience in Finance (reporting, controlling and/or consolidation)
- In-depth expertise in accounting, financial reporting and performance analysis
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office tools, particularly Excel (Access is a plus)
- Experience in Finance project management
- Knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS knowledge is a plus, especially IFRS 17)
- Ability to operate in complex, structured and multi-process environments
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Autonomous, proactive and solution-oriented mindset
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders
- Strong team spirit and organisational awareness
- Fluent in English, French and Dutch
