Senior Accounting Manager – Hybrid Funds (PE/RE)

Your Day to Day

• Lead and oversee complex fund accounting topics, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and high-quality deliverables.
• Perform detailed reviews of accounting files and NAV calculations, including performance fees, management fees, and waterfall models.
• Act as an escalation point for operational and client-related issues.
• Participate in client discussions, providing clear explanations, updates, and follow-ups.
• Ensure timely delivery of accounting outputs while strictly following internal processes.
• Monitor operational KPIs and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Implement process changes and operational innovations within the team.
• Support transformation projects and efficiency programs across operations.
• Mentor and coach junior team members, providing guidance and hands-on support as needed.
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and motivating team environment.

Your Profile

Experience & Expertise:

• Minimum 10 years in fund accounting, with exposure to alternative investment fund structures (PE/RE).
• Strong expertise in NAV calculations, including investor-side and depositary-side operations.
• Solid knowledge of standard and non-standard waterfall models, management fees, and variable fee calculations.
• Ability to interpret legal documentation related to alternative investment structures.
• Hands-on approach combining technical expertise with operational engagement.

Technical Skills:

• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with fund accounting systems such as GP3/GPC or equivalent.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and rigorous.
• Autonomy while remaining an effective team player.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with clients and internal stakeholders.
