Business Implementation – Fund Dealing Services

Your Day-to-Day

  • Oversee the implementation of onboarding projects within Fund Dealing Services, including new client setups, migrations, fund events and structural changes.
  • Coordinate and participate in regular project meetings or calls with clients and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Perform gap analyses to understand client requirements and define an operating model aligned with internal standards, collaborating with change teams when deviations arise.
  • Lead the preparation, negotiation, and validation of operational documentation with clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with operational teams and service providers to ensure all workflows and controls are in place for a seamless transition into business-as-usual.
  • Coordinate asset migrations (mutual funds, hedge funds, cash) linked to onboarding or transition events, including drafting process documentation outlining roles and responsibilities.
  • Work closely with transversal functions (Custody, Fund Administration, Transfer Agency, Depositary, Markets Services) to ensure cross-functional topics are addressed.
  • Keep the project pipeline updated, monitor upcoming events, and anticipate capacity constraints across your portfolio.
  • Manage connectivity setup and testing (e.g., SWIFT, internal platforms) to ensure clients and delegates are fully operational from day one.
  • Contribute to enhancing onboarding methodologies by proposing improvements and participating in post-implementation reviews.

Your Profile

  • Strong knowledge of mutual fund and hedge fund operations, processes, and industry standards.
  • Demonstrated experience in client onboarding, business implementation or project management within the financial services sector.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and client engagement skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities with the capacity to design efficient operating models and manage complex dependencies.
  • Highly organised, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality delivery.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
  • Comfortable using standard office tools and familiar with financial industry systems.
  • Fluency in English and French; any additional language is an asset.
