Project Manager – Business Implementation
Your Day to Day
- Lead and coordinate end-to-end business implementation projects related to fund events such as launches, migrations, mergers, liquidations, or structural changes.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring smooth communication and alignment between all internal stakeholders.
- Oversee the operational setup and onboarding of new or existing funds and share classes across various investment structures.
- Collect, analyze, and formalize client requirements through regular calls and workshops.
- Manage the full project lifecycle — from initial scoping to delivery — ensuring all documentation, actions, and deliverables are completed within agreed timelines.
- Define and implement target operating models together with internal teams, escalating any deviations from standard frameworks when necessary.
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration between departments such as Fund Accounting, Custody, Transfer Agency, and Middle Office.
- Maintain accurate project tracking, ensuring clear visibility of progress, risks, and dependencies.
- Proactively identify and escalate potential issues or risks to senior management.
- Ensure seamless handover to production teams and client support once onboarding is completed.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by proposing pragmatic enhancements to existing processes and tools.
- Work closely with project managers, business analysts, and IT teams to manage change requests and ensure operational readiness.
Your Profile
- Proven experience in project management, ideally within the investment fund or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of fund structures and regulatory environments (UCITS, AIF, SIF, RAIF, etc.).
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Client-oriented mindset with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical, structured, and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
- Comfortable working in cross-functional and multicultural teams.
- Proactive attitude with a focus on delivering high-quality results and meeting deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools and familiarity with project management methodologies or tools.
- Fluency in English and French; German or other languages are considered an asset.
- Adaptable, collaborative, and motivated to drive operational excellence and process improvement.
