Subject Matter Expert – BI FDS (Fund Distribution Support)

Your Day to Day:

  • Manage the implementation of fund dealing service projects, including client onboarding, fund launches, mergers, liquidations, and migrations.
  • Organize and participate in regular meetings or conference calls with clients and internal or external stakeholders involved in the projects.
  • Conduct detailed analyses of client requirements to design operating models consistent with internal standards, identifying and proposing solutions for any deviations.
  • Coordinate the preparation and signature of operational documentation with clients and internal departments.
  • Collaborate closely with fund dealing service teams to ensure operational setup, process integrity, and risk mitigation during transitions to business-as-usual activities.
  • Lead and coordinate asset and cash migrations, preparing operational documentation that defines roles and responsibilities of all stakeholders.
  • Work transversally with teams such as custody, fund administration, transfer agency, depository, and market services to ensure project alignment and proper dependencies management.
  • Monitor and maintain an updated project pipeline with clear visibility on ongoing and upcoming implementations, anticipating potential capacity challenges.
  • Coordinate the connectivity setup with clients or their delegates, including testing to ensure full readiness for transaction flows.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of onboarding and fund event processes by proposing pragmatic and sustainable solutions and leading post-implementation reviews.

Your Profile:

  • Comprehensive understanding of fund dealing services, fund operations, and client onboarding processes.
  • Experience in managing complex fund-related projects across multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and negotiation skills with strong client-facing experience.
  • Ability to perform detailed business and operational gap analyses and translate findings into actionable project plans.
  • Proficiency in using BI and reporting tools to monitor data consistency and project performance.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to coordinate between business, technical, and client teams.
  • Capacity to manage several projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
  • Fluent in English and French; any additional European language is a plus.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-driven with a focus on continuous process improvement.
