Transfer Agent – Private Equity & Real Assets
Your Day to Day
As part of a team dedicated to Private Equity and Real Assets, you will play a central role in the administration of alternative investment funds. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and maintaining the investor register for funds across private equity, private debt, and real asset strategies
- Preparing and reviewing key investor documentation, such as subscription forms, redemption instructions, share transfer agreements, and contract notes
- Handling capital calls and distributions, including calculations and drafting of investor notices
- Computing equalization and actualization interest amounts
- Conducting and verifying cash reconciliations for fund movements
- Responding to investor and client queries in a timely, accurate, and professional manner
- Coordinating closely with internal teams such as Fund Accounting, Compliance, KYC/AML, and Reporting
- Preparing reporting deliverables for investors, fund managers, and third parties including AIFMs, depositaries, and auditors
Your Profile
- Solid understanding of the alternative investment fund environment
- Between 3 and 5 years of experience in a Transfer Agent role, specifically within private equity, private debt, real estate, or infrastructure funds
- Strong client-oriented mindset, with the ability to work proactively and manage client expectations effectively
- Highly organized, with excellent prioritization skills and the capacity to manage multiple deadlines
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and handling pressure
- Fluent in English and French; additional languages are considered a plus
- Familiarity with fund administration tools, ideally including eFront FIA
- A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills and attention to detail
