Technical Business Analyst – Transfer Agency (PERE)

As a Technical Business Analyst – Transfer Agent, your role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative solutions that streamline fund distribution processes using advanced technologies. Here’s what your daily responsibilities will look like:

Your Day-to-Day

  •  Process Analysis & Improvement: Analyze existing transfer agent processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose improvements through innovative technological solutions.
  • Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to capture, document, and prioritize functional and technical requirements.
  • Solution Design: Design tailored technical solutions that align with the identified business needs and industry best practices, including for private equity, real estate, and debt funds.
  • Collaboration with Development Teams: Work with development teams to ensure proposed solutions are accurately implemented and meet the business requirements.
  • Testing & Validation: Participate in testing and validation phases to ensure the delivered solutions meet initial requirements and perform seamlessly.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams, translating complex technical concepts into clear, understandable terms.
  • Ongoing Support: Provide post-implementation support to end users, ensuring smooth adoption of new solutions and addressing any arising issues.
  • Regulatory Awareness: Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards related to fund distribution and transfer agent operations.

Your Profile

Technical Skills & Knowledge

  • Education: A degree in Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the financial services sector, with a focus on transfer agent processes.
  • Industry Expertise: Strong understanding of fund distribution operations and transfer agent workflows, including specific knowledge of Private Equity Real Estate, and debt funds.
  • Technical Knowledge: Practical experience or knowledge of advanced technologies and their applications in the financial sector.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Blockchain & Tokenization: Hands-on experience with blockchain platforms or tokenization solutions.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements within fund distribution (AML, KYC, FATCA, AIFMD, etc.).
  • Process Automation: Experience in automation tools and process optimization to enhance operational efficiency.
