Regulatory Compliance Consultant – DORA Implementation
Your Day to Day:
As a consultant, you will play a key role in supporting our organization in achieving full regulatory compliance under the DORA framework. Your tasks will include:
- Conducting a detailed gap analysis to assess the current operational and technological state of the organization compared to the DORA requirements, with a focus on entities in Luxembourg and Italy.
- Creating a clear, actionable roadmap for DORA compliance, including prioritization of key activities and deadlines for each stage.
- Providing hands-on support in implementing necessary changes across departments, including drafting and updating policies, procedures, and designing IT security and operational resilience measures.
- Leading training sessions to ensure internal stakeholders are informed and aware of their roles in compliance.
- Strengthening the incident response and reporting mechanisms in line with DORA’s regulatory expectations.
- Defining and assisting in the execution of testing and resilience exercises to ensure preparedness in case of disruptions or incidents.
- Establishing ongoing monitoring systems to ensure continuous compliance and follow-up actions where necessary.
- Preparing periodic progress reports and the final compliance assessment to track milestones and ensure all objectives are met.
Your Profile:
We are seeking a consultant with the following qualifications and experience:
- Proven experience in regulatory compliance projects, with specific expertise in financial sector regulations, particularly DORA.
- A deep understanding of operational resilience, ICT risk management, and related regulatory frameworks.
- Strong project management capabilities, including a track record of successfully managing compliance-driven projects.
- Excellent communication and training skills, with fluency in English (Italian is a plus).
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and implement necessary changes across different teams.
- Highly organized, with the ability to develop clear strategies, reports, and provide actionable recommendations.
- A self-starter who can work independently and lead cross-functional teams through the process of compliance implementation.
