Project Management Officer

Your day to day :

  • Work with clients to define and formulate their project announcements, ensuring that their business needs and objectives are clearly identified.
  • Assist clients in formulating high-level business requirements and provide advice on essential software architecture needs when relevant.
  • Ensure that project announcements are complete, compliant, and ready to be submitted to the management team.
  • Create, maintain, and update project files in project portfolio management tools.
  • Collect and review project proposals, presenting them to governance committees such as the CGP and CG-QIT.
  • Provide secretarial support for governance meetings, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up of decisions.
  • Participate in improving governance methodologies and tools, ensuring their alignment with organizational goals.
  • Train and support project managers on the use of project management tools, particularly Quapital IT.
  • Ensure project managers comply with governance requirements, including submitting mandatory monthly reports.
  • Develop communication materials to explain the project governance methodology to stakeholders.
  • Maintain high-quality standards in all governance-related documents, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
  • Prepare monthly activity reports for review and validation by management.
  • Maintain close collaboration with internal stakeholders to align project management processes and methodologies with operational objectives.
  • Provide on-site or remote support and assistance as required by the project.
  • Manage unexpected situations, such as last-minute changes or staff absences, while adhering to established processes.

Your Profile:

  • A degree of at least Bac+3 in computer science, project management, or a related field.
  • Certification in project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, PMBOK, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience as a Project Management Officer, with at least 220 man-days of relevant experience in the last five years.
  • Expertise in project portfolio management, governance, and supporting project teams with operational and technical tasks.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Quapital IT, project portfolio management systems).
  • Strong ability to prepare summary documents and communication materials related to governance.
  • Solid understanding of business needs and essential concepts in software architecture.
  • French: Level C1 (understanding, oral and written expression).
  • English: Level B1 (understanding, oral and written expression).
