Your day-to-day
As a Fund Registration Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting cross-border fund distribution processes and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements in multiple jurisdictions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising and guiding the activities of a Senior Officer in relation to fund documentation services, particularly in the area of KIID/KID filings.
- Managing the registration of UCITS and AIFs across various regions including Europe, Asia, and Latin America, in alignment with client instructions and applicable regulatory standards.
- Coordinating and overseeing all ongoing regulatory obligations such as prospectus updates, launch support for new investment products, KIID dissemination, and submission of financial reports.
- Providing tailored regulatory advice, ensuring clients are informed of local requirements and best practices for cross-border fund distribution.
- Handling post-registration tasks and ongoing regulatory reporting, ensuring funds remain compliant throughout their lifecycle.
- Acting as the main point of contact for complex interactions with both clients and supervisory authorities.
- Conducting high-level analysis to scope and plan regulatory initiatives and support strategic decision-making at the enterprise level.
- Mentoring team members and contributing to the development of internal expertise within the fund registration function.
- Maintaining an active regulatory watch to stay up-to-date with international changes affecting fund distribution.
- Supporting business development efforts through client presentations and contributions to RFI/RFP responses.
Your profile
- A strong understanding of regulatory frameworks related to UCITS and AIFs, particularly in the context of international fund registration and distribution.
- Proven experience in a fund registration, compliance, regulatory reporting, or legal operations role within the investment fund industry.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with clients and regulatory bodies in a clear and professional manner.
- Strong organizational and analytical capabilities, with attention to detail and the ability to manage several regulatory deliverables simultaneously.
- Leadership qualities and previous experience mentoring or coordinating team members in a project or service delivery setting.
- Ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements in a practical and business-oriented way.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, client-facing environment where responsiveness and precision are key.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of other European languages is an asset.
