FUND MANAGER OPERATIONS
About the Role:
We are seeking a Business Consultant to assist with the deployment of a new software for retrocession fee calculations. This individual will be crucial in supporting the team through this important transition. The consultant will be responsible for analyzing, structuring, and ensuring the successful implementation of the new tool.
Key Responsibilities:
• Contract Analysis & Gap Assessment: Review distribution contracts, perform a gap analysis between the current system’s capabilities and the new tool, and identify necessary development requirements.
• Configuration & Implementation: Configure distribution contracts within the internal tool once all functionalities are defined and ready for implementation.
• Distribution Network Structuring: Align and connect Transfer Agent (TA) accounts with their respective distributors in the current network, or create new entries for unidentified counterparties.
• Parallel Run & Validation: Conduct a parallel run for one quarter to compare and validate calculations between the old and new systems.
• Project Coordination & Reporting: Generate weekly reports detailing timelines and progress, lead meetings with management and project sponsors, document meeting minutes, and monitor action items.
Profile:
• Experience in fund operations, retrocession fees, or asset management.
• Strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to interpret complex distribution contracts.
• Expertise in fund administration systems and data reconciliation.
• Project management experience, including reporting, coordination, and stakeholder communication.
• Ability to critically evaluate calculations and validate system migration outcomes
