EMIR Reporting Auditor (m/f)
Responsibilities:
- Review and Validation: Conduct initial quality checks on EMIR reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Timely Submission: Ensure all EMIR reports are submitted in accordance with regulatory deadlines.
- Regulatory Monitoring: Stay updated on regulatory changes affecting EMIR reporting requirements and implement necessary adjustments.
- Data Integrity: Act as the first line of defence, ensuring data integrity and compliance before report submission.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (e.g., Compliance, IT, Operations) to resolve reporting issues and ensure process adherence.
- Root Cause Analysis: Perform root cause analysis of reporting errors and implement corrective actions.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of reporting procedures and quality checks.
- Process Enhancement: Assist in the development and enhancement of reporting tools and processes.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to relevant staff on EMIR reporting standards and best practices.
- Quality Metrics: Generate and analyze quality metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Control Implementation: Develop and maintain control measures to ensure compliance with EMIR reporting requirements.
- Risk Management: Proactively manage and mitigate risks associated with EMIR reporting.
Requirements:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience in EMIR reporting, regulatory reporting, or a similar role within the financial industry.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of EMIR regulations and reporting requirements.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in using reporting tools and software, familiarity with FC hub is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English; knowledge of French or Italian is an advantage.
- Independence and Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Data Analysis: Experience with data analysis and quality assurance methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Professional Certification: Certification in regulatory compliance or a related area.
- Industry Experience: Experience in a multinational financial services environment.
- Regulatory Familiarity: Knowledge of other financial regulations and reporting requirements (e.g., MiFID, SFTR).
- Subject Matter Expertise: Acts as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for EMIR and related regulatory reporting.
- Process Improvement: Identifies and drives process improvements to enhance accuracy and control.
- Quality Assurance: Leads control and quality assurance testing to ensure accurate reporting.
- Stakeholder Management: Manages relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including regulators.
- Committee Representation: Represents the team in regulatory committees and working groups.
- Languages: Proficiency in English; knowledge of French or Italian is a strong advantage
