Depositary Manager (m/f)
Key responsibilities:
- Be responsible for proper execution of main tasks related to depositary duties (safekeeping, cashflow monitoring and oversight) for a dedicated portfolio of AIFs
- Directly manage a team of staff from junior to senior depositary analysts, ensuring effective supervision, training and direction and actively contributing to the above the average employee retention rate;
- Review the depositary checklist output delivered by your team of direct reports to ensure that all relevant operating procedures, policies, and professional guidelines are being adhered to;
- Contribute to the relationship for a growing portfolio of depositary clients to ensure that high levels of service are delivered
- Assist the Luxembourg Depositary Services Senior Management respectively in monitoring the operational and financial performance of your team.
Skills, knowledge, expertise:
- The candidate will be expected to have at least 5 years of relevant experience i.e. depositary, audit, fund accountancy or A relevant professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, ICSA Diploma level or equivalent) might be considered as an asset
- Experience of managing a number of client relationships or a significant part of a major client relationship
- Experience of being responsible for a small team, including coaching, delegation and performance management of more junior staff
- Good knowledge and understanding of the AIFMD and Luxembourg regulatory framework as well as Luxembourg alternative investment vehicles universe
- An entrepreneurial mindset, with an eye to problem solving and change management and a good degree of initiative is essential
- Fluency in French and German is an asset
- Sound technical knowledge to be supported through the Company Academy and bespoke on the job training
