Accounting
Responsabilities:
- Responsible for the administration and bookkeeping for various Alternative Investment Funds/ its subsidiaries
- Taking care of the day-to-day operations of the funds and following up with third parties, including investors and fund managers
- Handling the fund’s accounts and collaborating in the preparation of periodic reports and regulatory reports for the fund’s entities
- Preparing the funds’ periodic Net Asset Value calculation and year-end financial statements, coordinating the audits, and reviewing other fund related reports
- Supporting Transfer agent team on investor servicing, including investor onboarding, capital calls, distributions as well as issuance of shareholder statements
- Working closely with legal colleagues as well as with external parties such as accountants, law firms and tax advisors
- Reviewing tax returns and tax balances and work in coordination with the internal tax compliance department for preparation of VAT / CIT returns
- Record the working hours/client in the time billing system according to the objectives set
Skills:
- University degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration/Economics, (ACCA-qualified or part qualified would be a distinct advantage)
- Good knowledge of Lux GAAP,(IFRS, Consolidation and/or USGAAP would be an advantage)
- 4-5 years of experience with a professional services firm or audit firms (big 4 is preferable)
- Have strong communication skills and work well in a team
- Are accurate, flexible, hands-on and deliver their best work when facing a tight deadline
- Proactive with a client service orientated attitude
- Ability for multiple tasks requested at the same time and set priorities
- Ability to solve problems and work independently and as a member of a team
